CEP companies were established in 1978 to provide design and consultancy services, mainly to Civil Engineering Contractors.
With rapid urbanisation leading to a rise in the development of tall buildings, infrastructure and geotechnical works in Singapore, CEP saw a need for geotechnical and structural instrumentation services and became the pioneer of instrumentation works in Singapore and has been providing field installation and monitoring services for the last 30 years.
In October 1978, CEP was appointed Slope Indicator Company’s exclusive representative in Singapore and Brunei. Slope Indicator is the leading brand in Instrumentation worldwide and has been around since 1958. The inventor of the Inclinometer System was the co-founder of the company.
Today, CEP has two full time Professional Engineers with more than 25 years of experience in instrumentation works and a team of dedicated engineers and technicians. We provide our customers one-stop specialised services for:

- monitoring of instruments
- applications consultancy
- rental of instruments
- maintenance and calibration services
More recent projects CEP has been involved in include MRT Circle Line, Downtown Line, Kallang Paya lebar Expressway, Marina Bay Business Financial Centre, Sands Resorts, Gardens by the Bay and Resorts World Sentosa.
Besides Singapore, we have also been involved in projects in Brunei, Malaysia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and Australia.

CEP also manufactures its own inclinometer casings, magnetic/inductance extensometers and indicator, water level indicator and load cells (ground anchor and strut) which have been widely used both locally and abroad.
